Prevent costly repairs! Keep gutters in good working condition during winter months.

Although regular cleanings may be all that it takes to keep things flowing nicely, winter brings leaves, twigs and other debris that are more likely to gather in gutters causing clogs and other unexpected problems.

  1. Clear gutters of debris: Professional assistance may be preferred but it can be accomplished with using a sturdy ladder, gloves, a gutter scoop or even a power washer. Pay attention to the corners and junctions!
  2. Inspect seams and anchors: Check for leaks and make sure gutters are firmly attached to the house.
  3. Structural damages: Examine fascia, siding, and foundation for signing of rotting or other water damage.
