The annual Taste Edmonds never disappoints! In 2018, they re-vamped some ideas to make it more local based. From a 21+ garden to the kids zone, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Getting a booth there is not hard, either. This event is run by the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce - great people to work with!  We love to sample all the yummy fair food and enjoy the live music.  See you there! Times and Dates

Many of our clients want homes within well rated school districts. Even if they don't, we remind them that in the future when they go to sell, future buyers may choose another home over their's if they buy a home that has poor school ratings; it's something to keep in mind regardless of whether or not they have kids in school or any kids at all.

For example, do you want to know how the schools in Lynnwod and Edmonds rate compared to the state averages?  Here are two reliable sources that will help you compare schools - simply enter the name of the school or district in their search field. These results are based on a variety of things such as test scores and other available data including academic growth and college readiness.

I met with Nan Fullmer who gave me a tour of Cedar Creek Memory Care Community. I feel there is a need for more quality places like this for the elderly when they are struggling to do things on their own. Moving a loved one into a memory care facility is not an easy decision and they show true compassion.

Nan explained well the love and attention the owners gave in planning this community. Their goal is to be experts at making the transition go as smoothly as possible.  They partner with your family to make sure your loved one gets the personalized care they need in such a hard time of their life.  The staff members are carefully screened and selected to ensure their skills and capacity for caring - they have caregivers and nurses are on-site 24

Salt & Iron has joined with the Jamed Beard Foundation's "Smart Catch" program. The goal is to make responsible sourcing decisions.

What's in a stack of really old files?  Edmonds' history, dating as far back to 1870, when the land was known as a Washington Territory, nineteen years before Washington was granted statehood.  These files were archived with the Edmond's School District, transferred to the City of Edmonds, digitally scanned and are now at home with the Edmonds Historical Museum.  These vintage documents reveal fuller the picture of Edmonds' history. Source:  Herald Net - Everett

The cities of Edmonds, Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace are working together to make bicycling safer along with increasing connectivity between these communities.  Once complete, Bike2Health will create an approximate 10 mile regional bicycle network that will connect major destinations (colleges, civic theaters, employment centers, the Interurban Trail, etc.) along with transit hubs (the Edmonds Ferry, the Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace transit centers and Swift bus rapid transit stations).
